I’m both surprised it’s almost December, and excited for this particular holiday season. It’s nearly time for Sanka Lucia, the bringer of light, to bring strong coffee, saffron buns, and other Scandinavian treats. The night gets dark sooner, but before we know it, Spring will be around the corner. I try to extend this season as long as possible.

Coriander in the Spice Rack 
I am not familiar with that tradition. Sounds cool.
I think my favorite stuff to traditionally do this time of year is watch Christmas movies, get gifts for people, do some holiday related art, a few favorite Christmas songs (my favorite is Mary’s Boychild” by Boney M but a lot of my favorite Christmas songs are about Mary… like Mary Did You Know? by several people but I have the Pentatonix version and Mary’s Song/Breath Of Heaven by Amy Grant.
anyway… i also like all kinds of holiday treats. i think my favorite is sweet breads like date nut bread and pumpkin bread with cream cheese.
