I think I’m turning Japanese!

I have started watching Hana Yori Dango (with subtitles) with Cass online.  I'm very intrigued, and can't wait to find out what happens next. It's hard not to watch the next episode when I'm supposed to be waiting to watch them with Cass.  We've seen 3 episodes so far.  We were suppose to watch more last night, but *sigh* I missed out.  I went to wake my SO up, and the dog crawled on the bed with me, and instead of waking S. up, the dog and I fell asleep.  WTF?!?!?!  Woke up around midnightish, and got to the grocery store around 1 AM to get some dinner.  Went to pay using our debit card, and the computers were down.  Not sure if it was tied to daylight savings or what, but it sucked.  The ATM in the store was also out, so S. had to drive across the parking lot to the bank and get money and come back.  It was slightly embarrassing, but what the heck… I felt irritated at being so reliant on technology at that moment.

Anyway, last night, I had a dream that I was Japanese, and was speaking the language, and living in a cool house with the sliding doors and everything!  I can't remember much of it.  It was a pretty nice dream actually.

It did however remind me how much things affect me subconsciously.  When I was about 10 or something, I saw The Lost Boys and couldn't sleep for a week.  It was terrible.  I used to have dreams that Dracula was chasing our car late at night, and I needed a boyfriend to save me from a certain death.  ;)  One of the coreys would have done nicely.  Then a few years ago, I started reading the Left Behind series, and in book 3, I started dreaming in Hebrew.  I don't know any Hebrew.  I would like to learn, but that's besides the point.  Often, I dream in French, but that's a bit more understandable as I actually studied French.
