This has been a chaotic month thus far. And it is only the 7th! The above could be printed and used as a hidden picture puzzle. There are so many things blending in, and not blending in. I’m enjoying the sole color theme for the month. (April will have a different look!)
I have been doing some genealogy research and found out that my direct lines go from the US to Sweden, Ireland, Austria, Netherlands, and Germany. I’ve found extended family in England, Prussia and Norway. I even found one record labeled “The Holy Roman Empire.” I nearly fell over. Say what?!?!?!
This has been on my mind with St. Patrick’s Day coming up, and Easter not far behind. For the past few years, I’ve spent Lent really leaning into the Bible’s Gospel scriptures leading up to and about the life & death of Jesus. I get very emotional thinking about what each person there experienced, felt, and endured. Mind blowing at the very least! What his mother felt… I cannot even imagine.
It’s not all serious business for me though. Plenty of time is being spent painting. I’ve also taken time to blow bubbles in our unexpectedly warm weather.
